The Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira is one of New Zealand’s most important museums and war memorials. Its collections concentrate on New Zealand history, natural history, as well as military history.

Address: The Auckland Domain, Parnell, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
Opening Hours: 10am to 5pm
Cost: £250,000
Designated: 27 June 1985
Architectural style: Neoclassical architecture

Feeling hungry and had a bite at the Museum Atrium Cafe. $6 for that small portion of fried rice wasn’t worth it!

We could not finish the tour. It was 3 floors of history, cultural heritage and whole lots of things to see. We even had a simulated experience on how an earthquake with tsunami would feel. I would personally rate this museum tour a 4 upon 5 stars! Well worth your $!
